Intro

Brady, based in Zele, is a global player in identification and safety solutions. As a pioneer in their sector, Brady continuously strives for improvement and innovation, both in their products and internal processes. To elevate their data management strategy, they chose to collaborate with Yellowground and configure Stibo Systems STEP as their MDM system.

The challenge

For Brady, it was essential to publish product information to 2BA, a platform that plays a crucial role in the standardization and distribution of product data within their sector. This required a dataset that fully complies with the ETIM standard, including the export of no less than 117 attributes. The process involved complex transformations and validations to ensure that the data seamlessly aligns with the requirements of 2BA and the industry.

Additionally, it was important to develop a solution that is scalable and allows for easy future expansions. Brady sought a partner who not only had the technical expertise but also understood the importance of accurate and standardized data for their customers and market position.

Our approach

The five key steps:

1. Identification of attributes: Together with Brady, we identified the 117 attributes essential for the dataset.
2. Data transformation: We ensured that the data was correctly transformed and adapted to the current ETIM standard.
3. BMEcat export: The export was set up according to the specifications of 2BA, with full validation of the dataset.
4. Testing and validation phase: Each step was thoroughly tested to ensure full compatibility and accuracy.
5. Publication: The data was successfully published to 2BA, marking a significant step in Brady’s data management strategy.

The BMEcat export module played a key role in delivering data in the correct format and structure.
